Countless individual pale sapphire glass fragments, fired into a single whale tail — 11cm across the flukes, 10cm high — and presented on oiled Australian bush timber. Light catches across the surface, bright where a fragment sits close to the edge, quieter where the glass runs deeper. The smallest in the family, sized for a windowsill or narrow shelf.
